A worker takes a break from loading cotton on a truck

Mark Twain wrote, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness." We think this is as important in business as it is in life.

Traveling is at the core of our business. Our founder, Scott, was inspired to start Tompkins Point after he traveled, lived and worked throughout the world. During that time, he was marveled by the world's beauties and burdened by its problems. That's why our products celebrate life while making a positive impact to society.

As we grow our business, we'll continue to take time to see the world. From Machu Picchu to Turkey to Nepal to anywhere in the Mediterranean, we'll keep exploring and we'll love every minute of it. And most importantly, we'll also regularly visit the farms and factories from which we source our products. This will ensure that we’ll maintain the utmost respect for farmers and factory workers, which will be reflected in the progress we make as we lead the industry in worker treatment and compensation.
